My experience with dogs starts at home with my parents dog kennel; breeding, showing, and training various Sporting dogs. I find bringing my passion for training and animal behavior studies to grooming helps give perspective and patience with the dogs I groom. Although I favor smooth coated dogs, some of my favorite to groom include the Newfoundland, Great Pyrenes, and German Shepherds, to name a few. I have found great success in using snacks and cuddles to make the grooming experience not just tolerable, but also fun and an event to look forward to.
