Dog daycare at No Leash Needed is the pet parent’s answer to today’s busy world! In our care, your dog will play & socialize to his heart’s content while you work or run errands– and you both can enjoy a peaceful evening at home.

We provide a controlled and monitored environment, in which approved dogs can interact and play throughout the day. We have strict standards when it comes to appropriate play to ensure the happiness and safety of each dog in our care. Advance reservations are required as we limit the number of dogs in daycare. All daycare dogs are required to schedule an initial evaluation trial day so we can make sure they are a great fit for our pack. All dogs over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered to participate in group play.

Why Choose No Leash Needed for Daycare?

No Leash Needed was founded by professional trainers who understand dog behavior– and dog happiness! We keep you informed of your dog's day at daycare on a regular basis.

  • Our climate-controlled, cushioned, non-slip, sanitary flooring indoor play zones keep the fun going in all seasons & weather.

  • Our spacious outdoor yards are fully-fenced and gated. Plus, artificial turf means no muddy paws! We offer splash pools and plenty of shade in the summer.

  • We separate our yards by size, temperament, and play style for safety and enjoyment. You won't find a room of 100+ dogs here, it's just not safe! Yards are always monitored. All staff members undergo extensive training before working in play yards, know pet CPR and are trained in best group play practices.

  • We offer a great bath & brush service after a day of play so your best friend comes home looking and smelling better than ever.

Exercise for the Canine Mind & Body

Veterinarians and trainers agree the keys to a happy, well-behaved dog are exercise & stimulation. Here are some of the ways doggie daycare enriches your dog’s days:

Exercise

Do you worry your dog is lounging around while you’re away, bored and inactive? No Leash Needed has lots of space for your furry friend to play and spend his energy while you’re away from home. Free playing in our doggie daycare gives your dog all the exercise he needs and helps keep him in top physical shape. After a day full of romping and playing with our staff and fellow guests, your dog will be ready to cuddle up for a pleasant evening with you at the end of the day.

Socialization

Because dogs are social by nature, they thrive on companionship. At our daycare, your dog will make lots of new canine and human friends. Our playgroups are based on size, age, and temperament, so your dog can have fun with like-sized playmates under the supervision of our staff. Studies show properly socialized dogs enjoy greater self-confidence and show better overall behavior.

Mental Engagement

Just like people, dogs can get lonely & bored when home alone all day. They may act out by howling, chewing your favorite furniture, or barking excessively. The quality daycare at No Leash Needed provides a healthy outlet for your canine companion to stay mentally & physically.

Our Commitment to Comfort & Care

At No Leash Needed, we pride ourselves on providing a place for your pet that’s as safe as it is fun.

Behavioral Evaluations

All new daycare guests undergo a careful evaluation process to ensure they’ll enjoy this social environment and get along with the other dogs. We continually monitor behaviors to ensure all dogs in daycare play appropriately with other dogs.

Staff Training

All No Leash Needed staff members are thoroughly trained in pet CPR as well as industry-leading group play techniques. We were founded by professional dog trainers with over 10 years of experience, who personally choose and prepare staff members based on their own high standards of care.

Small Groups

We keep our playgroups to limited numbers to maximize the safety and fun for our furry guests. Our highly-trained staff members lead the dogs in customized play according to the playgroup’s unique dynamics.

Rest & Relaxation

If your pup gets tired, our play yards have lots of lounging areas, including shaded canopies, for those that like to take it easy in their playgroups. Additionally, if requested or we feel your dog is tired from play, your pup can relax and recharge in a comfy suite until they’re ready to get back to the fun.

Facility Features

Everything at No Leash Needed was designed with the safety of your dog in mind. Our outdoor yards are securely fenced & gated, with artificial turf for clean pups. The facility is fully climate-controlled, with brand new ventilation systems keeping the air always-fresh. Cushioned floors cover the indoor playrooms for healthy joints and softer landings.

Requirements for Dog Daycare

Prior to participating in group play or Dog Daycare, pets must pass a scheduled temperament evaluation.

Clients interested in setting up Daycare for their dog must call the facility to setup a client orientation and tour. At this time, we will collect proof of vaccinations and a negative fecal exam. No Leash Needed will then set up a trial day for daycare. We ask for a minimum of 4 hours to assess your dog's behavior in group play. If your dog passes the temperament test, they can stay all day and normal charges apply. If your dog does not pass for group play, a staff member will notify you. There is no charge if your dog does not pass for camp.

Approved pets may have social privileges suspended if their behavior changes and becomes inappropriate for daycare.

We require the following vaccinations:

  • Rabies

  • DHLPP

  • Bordetella or Canine Cough

A negative fecal exam within the last 6 months is encouraged, but not required.

Due to different protocols by Veterinarians, the Canine Influenza vaccine is not required, but STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.

Maggie is well cared for and always seems happy when she goes for daycare or, in previous times, for boarding.

Frank C.

My family loves No Leash Needed. Both of our dogs have improved behavior after private and group training-- my shy feral boy is now more confident and playful! Both enjoy daycare and I feel safe leaving them overnight for boarding. I recommend NLN to anyone I know who asks about their services. Thanks!

Ellen M.

My puppy gets so excited when we pull onto the parking lot! She loves going to daycare here, and the staff has always been very nice.
