Ashley has always had a passion for animals. When she was younger, she worked at the local animal shelter walking dogs, helping with adoptions, and learning the vet care side of things. She was also training and showing horses and went off to earn a degree in Equine Studies. Her love of dogs though never wavered, she was still training dogs on the side, but wanted to get back into training full-time.
Ashley decided to get certified and also apprenticed under a couple of trainers for a couple of years to gain more knowledge and sharpen her skills. She has been training for over 10 years and in 2017 went to work for a local organization training Service dogs to gain even more experience and fell in love with their mission. In 2021 she joined No Leash Needed to help pet owners with their pups as well.
She is a balanced trainer and believes in having a balanced, well-rounded dog. She enjoys being able to help pets overcome fears, learn new skills, and help pet parents communicate better with their pups.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her three kids and training her dogs which she competes in PSA and APPDA with.
